Planting method:
Planting time: Hostas are best planted in spring or autumn. The climate during these two seasons is milder, with moderate temperature and humidity, conducive to the growth and rooting of Hostas.
Hostas prefer fertile, loose, well-drained soil.
Spacing can be controlled at about 20 - 30 cm apart, with row spacing around 30 - 40 cm. Place the Hosta bulb or seedling into the planting hole, ensuring the top of the bulb is level with the soil surface, then gently fill in the soil and firm it around.
Lay a layer of clay pellets or broken tiles at the bottom of the pot to enhance drainage. Then fill with an appropriate amount of soil, planting the Hosta bulb or seedling in the pot, filling to about 2 - 3 cm from the edge of the pot, and gently firm the soil.
During the growth period, Hostas require regular fertilisation to provide ample nutrients.
